Meet Olly

Olly developed a passion for climbing trees at a young age and discovered Tree Surgery in his early 20's. Having established a wide range of skills over the years, covering all aspects of tree surgery, Olly and the team are very well-equipped and take great pride in striving to complete all work to the highest standard.

Oliver Tarrant has been an advisor to us for the last 4 years during which time he has given us sound objective advice. One of our tall 50ft Scottish Pines was leaning precariously over our neighbour’s garage and garden with the root ball lifting the ground significantly. An adjoining pine was also beginning to lean and we decided that both had to come down. Oliver gave us an extremely competitive quote and managed to fit us in at short notice. This involved working with our neighbour to ensure that disturbance and intrusion was kept to a minimum.

Oliver and his team were so skilled at this exercise that at times it was like aerial ballet with chainsaws. Safety was observed at all times and, despite the enormity of the task, they were able to complete the task well within time, remove all debris and throw in some additional trimming of two other trees.

This is the second time we have used TTS. On the previous occasion Oliver and his team were tasked with felling two even larger and broader trees.

My family and I were all mesmerised at the ease at which these arborial athletes were able to scale the highest trees with powerful chainsaws in their hands bringing down branches and the trunks with complete control using zip wires when necessary.

I can commend Oliver Tarrant and his team at Tarrants Tree Surgery with enthusiastic confidence. Oliver is a delightful individual and his team are courteous, respectful and also great fun to have in our garden.
